男,英国伦敦大学博士,研究领域:非天然核苷的合成及其三螺旋DNA的形成和性质。现任北京理工大学化学与化工学院教授,研究工作主要包括两个方面:(1)药物化学;核苷类化合物的分子设计、合成及其在抗病毒(肝炎等)和抗癌方面的构效关系研究。把三氮唑环引入核苷后,他们发现具有共轭效应的分子抗癌活性较高。肿瘤和乙型肝炎等疾病的临床治疗,耐药性是较为突出的问题。他们针对拉米呋啶治疗乙型肝炎产生的耐药性问题,设计新型核苷类化合物,研究抗耐药性病毒的新型抑制剂。(2)合成化学;有机合成方法的研究。在国际学术刊物发表研究论文20多篇,申报发明专利5项。出版专著“保护基化学”一部,受到读者的好评。
